  1. It depends a little on what your offence is, but the general rule is they are "valid" for 3 years but stay on your license for four.

Most insurance companies will want to know of any offences that happened in the past 4 or 5 years.

  2. HELLO

POINTS NORMALLY 3 YEARS FROM DATE OF OFFENCE AT WHICH TIME THEY BECOME SPENT OR DEAD  BUT CANNOT BE REMOVE FOR ANOTHER YEAR AFTER.

  3. andy got it right

  4. FOREVER

    :)

  5. Three years, but they show on your licence for four.

  6. They're valid for "totting-up" purposes for 3 years, but actually remain on the licence for 4 before you can apply to have them removed.

  7. They are kept on the paper part of the license and valid for 3 years.

After another year you can apply to get them removed.

Most insurance companies ask about points from the last five years.

So it's still going to be a pain to you 2013 !!

  8. Yep, 3 years but can't be removed till 4th year and insurance will want to know within 5 years.

    Sorry.

  9. 5 years
