How long do root canals take?

We have had them take and hour, and other with many auxiliary canals take multiple visits and totaling many hours....If you want it done right, don't worry about it and let the doctor do whatever work is needed for YOUR situation.....

I had one done many years ago, its not that complicated. I'd say about an hour.  All a root canal is when they drill a hole down the center of the tooth all the way to the gums. Then they remove the nerve through this hole and fill the hole in.

root canal treatment  for prosthetic treatment take 3 days

I just had one done and it took hour. I still have to go back and have the primited filling put into the root and get the tooth ready for a crown. But the root canal took a hour.  But this was a one root canal I have had back teeth done that took a 2 hours. with more roots
