  1. It just depends on the size and the detail.  Also if you need to take breaks during.  My first one was small and all one color and it took about an hour from the time he put the stencil on until I was all finished.  My next had several colors and it was a little bigger and it took about an hour and a half.  My third one is about 7 X 7 inches and it took 4 hours to complete, not including the stencil.  There was a lot more detail in the shading so it took longer.  I don't know about the detail or the colors of yours, but if it is simple and all one color I would think it should only be about an hour or less.  Hope this helps you.

  2. What do you mean "finish?" Do you mean how long you have to sit? That depends on the size of your tattoo. Medium to me might not be medium to you, so you're going to have to ask your artist to estimate a time for you. I would say to expect to sit for at least an hour to an hour and a half. Free up two and half hours of your day just in case.

  3. Well for "hip bone" that can't be too big. Probably about... An hour? Give or take. And depends how much detail, if there's a lot of detail it'll take longer.
