  1. It is a good thing you are seeing a doctor.  You must find out what is causing the anxiety.  To do that you will probably need to see a therapist.  The doctor may prescribe a tranqulizer to get you through the symptoms until you can find out the cause.  A small dose will not cause you to be "out of it," just control the manifestations of the anxiety.  If a particular place or situation is causing you the anxiety, you may want to avoid it until you can find out why.

  2. depends on the person. You cant pin-point a certain time, don't rule out asthma

  3. It can be for any length of time...If it is true anxiety. However if you get it only at night time, and experience chest or abdominal pains along with your attack, and your a young woman in your late 20's thru your 30's beware, it could be your gallbladder. Have it checked immediately it could be ready to rupture. My wife was wrongly diagnosed for years that she was suffering from anxiety attacks when in actuality it was her gallbladder. If you are truly suffering anxiety attacks, then there will need to be a change in your life as to deflating whatever is causing you to stress out to the point of having these attacks. I can recommend some natural products that can help you alleviate your stress visit www.abtam.my4life.com go to the products tab, look up the stress formula. No side effects, all natural, non addicting. There are several other products that can help you maintain optimum health, I recommend you read the transfer factor story tab, and educate yourself on what may be available to you. God bless and take care.
