  1. most of the planet will be killed off within a year. most of the rest will die within 30 years. 200 million are expected to survive

  2. Around 20 years. Earth's destructions is drawing near still you cant do anything. No matter how many good things you think of doing but you wont be able to reverse what we already have done. There is only one way, cover the earth with trees 2 times he area of total land on earth which is not possible. And this is a fact. So you realize how big the problem is and cannot be solved by "OUR" major steps which seem the most minor in front of nature. If you really want to do something try stopping the infra-red and UV rays of sun entering earth or control population in just 1 month or refreeze the ice of arctic and if you do that than only we can save earth. I'm not trying to be sarcastic, this is truth. And this is actually no total humans fault. It's a wonder that Earth's climate has been stable since a long time which shouldn't have been. It's like we have just provided the spark for the fire and now we cannot control it. We could have controlled the spark but not the fire. So enjoy your remaining 20 years of life on this planet.

  3. At least until the next tilt of the earth's axis which would cause the next Ice Age to start... but who knows when that is?  I think people are becoming more aware of their environment and the impact we have on it... and although slow to react, humans are finally starting to wake up and the momentum will build.  I have faith we won't destroy everything before it is too late.

  4. The most logical answer to this question is that most but not all of the human population may die from the damage we have caused but barring any kind of sudden catastrophe like an asteroid collision humans will find a way to survive, albeit i lesser numbers.  Its all about the carrying capacity of the planet.

  5. Not that long.  This is probably one of the reason why they want to infect Mars with humans too.
