How long do white fillings last?

Okay, from what the dentist told me, the cavity is small. I got a white filling, if I take good care of my teeth, such as brushing after every meal, and flossing, and using listerine mouth wash, will I still need to get a root canal?

fillings last for years, it's nothing to be concerned about.

get something besides listerine.

you mean a ceramic filling?  ceramic is stronger than your teeth are to begin with.  They will last as long as the tooth does.

well if your dentist told you that the cavity was small, chances are with proper oral hygiene your white fillings(composite restoration) will lasts for years. and you don't need root canal therapy dear.goodluck!
