  1. as this is in the racing section i will answer for the jockeys. senior riders are those who has been riding for the longest time and have the most winners.if you mean in other sports then that is a matter of rules for each competition and should be on the different entry forms.


  2. It is not how long you have ridden, but how old you are.

    I'd say 21 years old as, if I recall correctly, that is the age at which you are no longer allowed to enter Junior comeptitions.  However I believe you can still enter the senior competitions below this age, as I have seen many 17/18 year olds compete at the top level.

  4. Is it not more about how old you are rather then how long you have been riding?

    In most sports seniors are over either 16 or 18 depending on the sport.
