  1. 6-8 years

  2. roughly around 6-8 years.  you need 2 years pre-med and then about 4-6 years or rotations and experience

  3. 8 years, plus alot of extra work (i could list it but i'm too tired. . . i did reseach it at one time)

  4. For me (small animal veterinarian) I need 4 years in prevet and another 4 years, spending the last 1 or 2 years working in the veterinary hospital in the University.

    That's 8 years!!

I don't know how it is for equine vets or farm vets...where I plan on going, there's no difference in the time periods I don't think.

    So...8 years for me...maybe 8 to 10 for you?
