How long do you have to let tie died shirts dry?

I just wet my shirt and put the tie dye on an hour ago how much longer untill i can wash it and wear it?

you should let it sit in a bag for about 4-6 hours.

it would make the colors brighter and light longer.

after that you can go to all your hippie raves. hahha

It's best to let them sit for 24 hours minimum after applying the dye. The longer they soak the better the colors will turn out. Then you will want to wash them in cold water to remove any excess dye. Dry the shirts on a low heat setting first. This should limit how much they fade.
