How long do you have to stay led down after you have artificially inseminated your self?? as in donor style?

me and my girlfriend have used a donor and a tool to insert the donation how long do i have to be led down for the donation to stay in me and reach my egg to fertilise it???

Well in the doctors office they have you lie down for at least 20 - 30 minutes...I guess it would be the same for the home version.  Just curious...how do you know that the "tool" went correctly into the cervix????

i would think its the same as if you had been having s*x (about 20 mins). honestly i dont think it makes much difference as the sperm will start swimming as soon as it is in there. good luck

I would definitely say 20-30 minutes.  Anything that comes out after 30 minutes is not viable anyways.  I've actually heard of many women getting preggo this way and am considering it for myself.  Good luck and let us know how it goes!

It can take up to 3 days for the egg to be fertilized..

Maybe you should just try it the old fashioned way?

Or try IVF.

Plus, how did you get someone to give you a "donation"?
