how long do you have to wait after miscarry to be pregnant again?

I'm trying to conceive what should i do to get pregnant faster?

Hi! I am in the same boat. I just lost my baby on Monday morning. It was a very emotional event to go through. I am doing ok. Anyways, I was 12 1/2 weeks pregnant and I ended up having to have a D&C. The surgeon told me that we could try again after my next period. Yesterday I was reading on the internet, and there were several answers; after your first period, two - three months after, 6 months to 1 year after. I think it comes down to your emotional state. Are you prepared to try again.....if you are, I would wait for a period and make sure your body is somewhat back to normal....anyways good luck and all the best!!

I had a miscarriage in March '08, I was 8 weeks along, and also had a D&C.  My doctor told me to wait at least to cycles, so that your hormones get balanced again.  It really depends on your body, how far you were, and if you had a D&C.  I head that women who have a D&C and get pregnant right away have a much higher chances of another miscarriage, but is different in each woman.  You should also get your doctors advice on this one, if she/he did not specify anything then most likely you can try right away.

professionals say 2 periods before ttc again as you are not mentally and physically healed enough and have a higher chance of miscarrying again if your body is not back to normal. instead of ttc fast i would recommend that you get plenty of rest and get your body healthy with supplements and herbs.look at my profile on herbs to aid a pregnancy for both women and men.women lacking in progesterone when pregnant can start to miscarry .also caffine is high risk and should be cut out, even decaff, as well as the obvious alcohol and cigarettes and any drugs that are not prescribed to you

This often depends on how far along the pregnancy was and whether you had a D&C. If the doctor gives you the all clear, you can try again immediately, if you feel emotionally prepared. Often, women are more likely to get pregnant after a m/c because the endometrium is fresh.

I had a natural m/c and am ttc again. I got one normal period are then started ttc again. My doc said she usually recommends to get one normal period before you start ttc again, however, not all couples wait and go on to have normal and healthy pregnancys. GOOD LUCK!

i had an early miscarriage and i was pregnant 2 months later. my doctor told us there was no reason to wait so we immediately started trying again.
