How long do you have to wait before you refinance as car after you bought it?

I have had this car about 2 months and was wanting to refinace it already payments are a lilttle to high sohow long do i ahve to wait before appling for a refinance loan

  1. ANYTIME! shop around.. got to lending tree.com... there are other companys willing to take your loan away from their competitors.


  2. Usually you have to pay off the tax and title before you can refinance.  Unless it is at least two digit drop in the interest rate it does not make sense to refinance.

  3. This is misconception the dealers tell buyers so that they can make up some of the interest on the car they just sold. You can refinance a car at any point after you buy it. So if you want to see if you can get a better rate, do it now. No use in waiting, you're just paying more into interest the longer you're with this loan.
