  1. If they are really dirty, I would soak 1-2 hours in a mixture of laundry soap and oxyclean.  Then after soaking, DRAIN the water and refill with clean water, new laundry soap and bleach.  Wash as usual


  2. What are you soaking them in?  And how dirty are they?

    And funny about the suggested category.  What is Yahoo thinking?

  3. I usually put my whites in the washer with Tide and OxyClean and let them agitate and then soak for an hour or two - sometimes letting them agitate some more.  If there are really dirty clothes in the load, I soak them longer.  Then I let the load go through the entire wash cycle.

  4. If there are stains, I spray Shout on them, and I have a bottle of half bleach and half water...I spray that as well...and let them soak overnight. So far....it works well and I get most stains out....If no stains, I just wash them, and I always use cold water.*
