How long do you live if you drink since you were 17?

well i been drinking since i was 17 and now i am 38.i been drinking 8 (24oz) every day and on the weekends i drink a lot can you help me how long i might live so i can spend more time with my kids.

Is it just beer that you drink? or is it like hard alcohol everyday?

you will live long.  no matter how much u drink and for how many age. the important is that u focud on ur family. so either stop drinking .no....no....no...... stop word is not better for u. keep in mind that  changing of life styles. thereafter ur drinking dozes will be redused. and u will live long.

i would say you could maybe go off before 40 or so but you must have a liquid liver by now. i know that i had two uncles and an aunt who died around 42 and it could be you also but you could be lucky and make it to 50 but i doubt it

everyone dies at a different age, just try to stay healthy and drinking wont hurt you that bad. dont get drunk though that is not good around children if you can drink and still be sain and normall than keep doing it why not? lol

well. i dont think drinking like that can affect how long you live ..its not like your an alcoholic right.. but how you balance your diet along with drinking. drinking on an empty stomach can definitely harm you..eating other foods and balancing it out is definitely better. drinking is obviously bad for you but try limiting it..DONT DRINK AND DRIVE THOUGH!..but im pretty sure youll have lots of time to spend with your kids

What type of beer are you drinking anyway? If it is High Gravity beer, you seriously need to slow down. On another note, how does your kids react to daddy being drunk?

Do you have some kind of mental problem?

Some people drink, some can't.  If you can't go a day without it, much less a week, then your body is taking a heavy toll.

Your liver is probably ready to explode.  Do you puke every morning?

40 was drinking since 12.  If I had kids, I sure as h**l would get this figured out.  Lots of help available out there.  Buck up and make it happen.  Don't let your kids see you lust over alcohol.

Perhaps you could go to Alcoholics Anonymous and stop drinking so that you don't have to worry about how long you can drink and have time to spend with your kids. You just might find that life can be better without drinking. Good luck.

only god knows when it comes my friend.. it could be tomorrow or 60yr later.. cause it's not only because of drink.. you could be hit by car or being murdered..



it's not about how long you still have time to spend with ur children.. but it's about how ru going to spend the rest of ur life with ur children..

start to spend ur time with your children right now.. so when the time comes you will tell us again here that u already have a beautiful life with ur children..

My uncle is an alcoholic--he started when he was fourteen and now he's in his mid fifties and just had a bunch of strokes and I don't think he has much time left. You. Need. To. Stop. Sometimes I think my mom is going to break down because he is so irresponsible and is a burden to our family. His drinking hurts the entire family. If you want to know when you're drinking is going to kill you, it all depends on your body type.
