  1. I just had 3 fillings done about a month ago.  My dentist used a special tool that hardened/dried the filling almost instantly and so I was able to eat anything I wanted RIGHT after the appointment.  Talk to your dentist to find out when you can eat....

  2. no longer than 1 hour no less than 30 mins

  3. When ever the injection wears off.

Try soft foods and liquids though!

  4. Well my dentist always says about 2 hours

  5. Take it from me ive had more fillings than a sandwich shop about 2 hours but be on the safe side and stick to soft foods soup, bread, beans, scambled egg nothing that involes biting and be cafeful not a eat a kit kit as the residue of the foil on the chocolate can give you a very nasty pain in the tooth and i would say cron flakes next morning stay away from as ive had 3 fall out the day after eating cornflakes

    good luck

  6. I am pretty sure that it is half an hour but I would wait an hour just to be safe.

    I would call the dentist.

  14. I think a couple of hours will do.  Are these you first fillings?

  15. As soon as you have feeling back in your mouth (from the meds) you should be able to eat.  You may just have to baby that area until it isn't tender anymore.  I am surprised your Dentist didn't send you away with information on this.

    Good Luck!
