Probably within the next 5 - 10 years. The US has no excuse for the national debt. Our greed will get the best of us, and then God have mercy on our souls. I pray for our nation.

It won't take long if we do not learn how to get and maintain a strong economy. Making the rich richer and not educating ALL educable citizens is not going to cut it. And, if you are speaking of Olympic medals, they have already surpassed the US in gold and will surpass us in total medals by next time.
