  1. You serve for 2 years if you're elected to the House of Representatives.  Senators serve 6-year terms.


  2. Members of the House of Representatives serve 2 years.

    They can be re-elected as often as their consituents allow it (Article I, Section II, U.S. Constitution).

    Your question is a little vague, because there are lots of parts of the House of Representatives, such as the Clerk of the House, whose term is determined by House rules rather then the Constitution. People elected to serve in the House of Representatives are called "Members" - their term is two years, defined by the U.S. Constitution.
