  1. It usually takes about a week or two.

  2. The doctor will give you a sample. If for soe reason your contacts take a little longer, you could always just ask for another pair of contacts. contacts will take about 7-10 days.

  3. Most prescriptions can be fit with trial lenses located within the office.  If it is something that requires ordering, it can take 2 days to a week or up to 6 weeks (if it's really special).

  4. Well when you go there to get the eye exam, you will probably get a trial pair with your prescription. You will probably be using that pair of contacts for 2 weeks. You will end up scheduling an appointment for 2 weeks later. Then, your eye doctor should be able to prescribe you regular contact lens. The reason you come back in 2 weeks is to make sure your eyes are doing well with the lens in (they get enough oxygen and are healthy, etc.) Good luck with them!:)

  5. It usually takes a week or a week and two to three days.
