How long do you think Rafa will last at the top spot?

Seeing as he's soon-to-be-crowned number 1. But do you think he will last that long? I mean all the energy he puts into each game surely must have an impact on his body (no matter how magnificent it may be!)

what do you think?

  1. People said two years ago that he would never be able to play at his level for a long time cause he would tire himself out.  He proved them wrong :-P  !!  He will stay there for a long, long time :).  I'm sure of it hehe ;) !

  2. well...that depends...if federer continues playing like this..he'll last atleast a year. If federer starts playing at his best level again, he could lose it next year. Not to forget that he'll now become a target since he's number one..all the players will give it their shot and he'll be the one to beat.

  3. next 2-3 yrs

  4. First, let me say that I am a HUGE Nadal fan. But I will admit, I didn't have much faith in him staying in thep spot for long since he wasn't the best on hard courts, but after beating Djokovic, it proves that he has improved on every surface and is capable of winning all of the slams. With that said, if he keeps playing like he is playing, there is no doubt in my mind he will be up there for a long time. Maybe not as long as Federer but I think he has the potential of staying there for almost 2 years.

  5. he will last forever

  6. I agree with lil rafa!!! Nadal knows what the media say about his style of game how its very physical and he`ll ``burn out`` what a loada bull...in fact i have a good question to post now haha lol erm anyway Nadal is definitely one of the greats in tennis i believe he`ll complete a career grandslam and go on to win the Gold medal. Vamos Rafa !!!

I disagree entirely with some_guy , even when Roger is at his best Rafa can still beat him! Also just because Rafa is #1 doesnt make him a target for the other players being #2 for 4years like nadal has is going be the same as being at #1. How can i explain myself right lol! Nadal was always a top player regardless of his #2 ranking, players always target him they always want to beat him, the motivation is there to beat Nadal by all the other players regardless if Rafa is #1 or #2.
