  1. Obviously we'll see him in a nationwide ride first but if he goes out and gives a good performance I bet he's in a cup race early next season. Probably several races. hopefully they are smart and only have him race a couple so he'll be eligible for rookie of the year honors in 2010. Not saying he will win it but it really sucks when a good driver is ineligible because he raced one or two too many races the year before

  2. Well Team Red Bull could have easily put him in what I assume would have been the #85 but they decided that they would build him up through the ranks 1st, which is the smart way to go. He has quickly enough risen to be a contender for the win in ARCA (eventually winning there) & the Craftsman Truck Series (eventually winning there).

He may go Cup racing a little in 2008 or may full time in 2009 or he may run the Nationwide schedule in 2009 and then Cup in 2010.

  3. If the right team can get him, look for him  doing the Nationwide/Truck/ARCA next year and maybe attempting a few cup events. Then in 2010 look for him to be running for rookie of the year in CUP.

  4. he was asked about this in a recent interview and although he said he was focused on arca and truck series racing at present, he was more than willing to work with whatever red bull's timetable for him might be. i'd think we should be seeing him in at least the nationwide series within the next couple of months, and possible within a cup car at least a few times before the end of this year.  i like him - he's got personality and a ton of talent. i could easily see him running less than seven races in one or both of those series, with a run for rookie of the year in one or both by next year.

  5. Just what NASCAR needs...another sissy boy that ADMITS to painting his toenails...

SO to answer the question...hopefully a long, long time...or in other words NEVER.

This guy is soo girly, he makes Jeff Gordon look like Paul Bunyan.

  6. He said on ESPN that he didn't even want to go to Cup. He wants to stay in Trucks. He could get a billion dollar offer to the Top Teams and would turn it down to race in the 22 truck. Besides, the offer he'd get would be from Brian Vickers and Red Bull.

  7. Next year

  8. I was just thinking the same thing when he won the truck race the other week.

He will be in Nationwide (my opinion) next season 2009 and I think if he does well in that then he'll be in Cup in 2010.

I think he does better (and likes it more) in Nascar then he did in Formula 1.

Isn't he  still racing in ARCA  for Eddie Sharp Racing as well as running in Craftsman Truck for Morgan-Dollar Motorsports?

In conclusion, if he keeps up good consistent racing, he'll be in a cup car in 2010.

  9. Maybe in the next three years, Redbull likes to rush thier drivers to cup

  10. He is busy focusing on his Arca & Truck ride..He said he wanted to come up through the ranks, he'lll probably do Nationwide next yr, and some cup rides later in the yr..This guy is gonna be great once he hits cup, and this is coming from someone who doesn't care for Toyota.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  11. a few years
