Probably won't lose it in the sense of being lost. Probably the Labour Government will be so short of funds that they will sell the torch and the flag as a "souvenir" on ebay. They will claim that they were both "lost".

To help meet co2 emissions targets, it wont be lit, at least not for the masses but the wealthy will be allowed their own massive all terrain  ones.

Well I'm glad you asked me that.You see my government has a contingency plan for this,much in the same way as we did for Northern Rock,the price of oil,the recession and so forth.

We've learnt not to be caught out and we've a three tone EverReady on standby which I used to use under the bedclothes as a boy in Scotland

as the nights there drew in very quickly once it reached August.

This has nearly all of the Olympic colours-red  green,and normal-but we can pretend that one's yellow.

No need to worry.The torch is safe in my hands....
