From the information that I am looking at and what I can tell about future trends.  It could and probably will take America about 10-15 years to recover from the mess we are currently in right now.   That is also taking into account that the next 3 presidents do the right things at the right time.  If someone messes up along the way, it will take us even more time to regain our political and financial power that we have lost in the last 10 years.

You wanted an answer and that is the stark reality of the mess we are in right now.

How long do you think it will take for the people to wake up? If we elect Obama or McCain, it at least 4 more years down the wrong path.  If we fail to help Fire Congress it may be never.

Hopefully on January 20th. we will get an administration that admits that there is something wrong before it escalates into disaster, and is willing to make changes. It has taken seven and a half years to get us where we are, and it will take some time to get us back on track. Einstein said that insanity is trying the same thing over and over and over and expecting different results.
