How long do you think it would take a fast walker to walk 0.8 miles?

At a brisk steady pace, 4mph, about 12 minutes, but longer if there are road crossings or other possible holdups, in an urban area 3mph might be more typical, in which case 15-20 mins.

A good road pace is  4 miles per hour. That equates to 15 minute miles or about 12 minutes for a 0.8  mile walk. You can certainly walk faster than 4MPH but you'll be nearly at a trot.

It takes me 30 minutes to walk a mile.

So if your fast I suppose half that.....15 min.
