How long do you think "the day after tomorrow" will happen...10 yrs...25...100?

Just curious on what the general public thinks this event might occur, if your a meterologist...please enlighten me.

  1. no...the movie is science fiction and most of the events in the movie are scientifically impossible. don't worry...relax!

    reading your update...yes...an ice age will happen again sometime in the earth's lifespan. it is just a natural climate change that has happened millions of years in the past and will happen again. however this is most likely to happen thousands to millions of years from now...


  2. What an intriguing question.  My best guess is that the day after tomorrow will occur in exactly 2 days.

  3. Unless there is a catastrophic volcanic eruption or an asteroid hits the earth in the next year, something like this would take hundreds, perhaps thousands of years to happen.  Movies like this are nothing more than to further an agenda......a pretty uniformed one, at that.

  4. In the movie they compressed something that takes thousands of years to less than a week. It's safe bet, not in our lifetime.
