How long do you think will it take me to sell.....?

my furniture, childrens clothes and shoes and a whole bunch of other stuff that i need to get rid of before i move to my new house towards the end of september

on average how long does it take for a person to sell a household of stuff if in good to excellent condition....

just give me some estimates on how long .... i need all of this stuff gone for my new furniture and other things

CANT do a yard i live in an apartment and i dont know anyone who owns a house..

please help !! and how can i sell stuff and live in an apartment...

i will put pics and ads on craigslist and in newspapers...............

where else?....

Your big ticket items should go fairly quickly if you price them right and post good pics on Craigslist. Don't hold an item for someone who "promises" to come tommorrow or needs to wait for pay day. These people will most likely be "no call, no show" types. You're small everyday items probably won't sell, so you're better off donating them to charity and writing them off the following tax year.

*Fast selling items- Couches, beds, dressers, tables etc. These usually sell within 48 hrs

*Household items- months! Just donate them

*Take the childrens toys and clothes to a consignment shop such as Childrens Orchard, they pay you cash on the spot

let everyone know that you have things for sale. and you can have them come and see them. they will decide what they want or need. good luck. or put them up in storage. and sell them in time.
