  1. Heat therapy is one of the ways of trying to weaken cancer growth and is practices in alternative medical clinics (yes, run by medical doctors) the world over.

Osteocarcoma is a deadly cancer, and I don't think anybody is saying this is the only thing you should do, but the fact is cancer cells are quite fragile and succeptible to changes in environment - that's why cancer cells die during chemo and normal cells (mostly) don't.

  2. Yes, 10 minutes.  Then return to the oncologists office for some EFFECTIVE treatment.

  3. A hot water bottle will help fight the pain for a short while but it won't stop the cancer.

The pain of this bone cancer is the worst pain imaginable. It aches until you stop hurting because you're body can't bare it any longer.

This child better be booked for surgery and getting treatment from the hospital. That is if you're friend doesn't want to be responsible for the death of their son or endangerment.

I pray the cancer hasn't spread to the organs by now. Because once it gets to the lungs the show's all but over.

People who force these treatments on their children have no idea what it's like to endure bone cancer.
