  1. OMG I'm sorry u are going through this.  How old are you anyway, what state regulation does your foster care fall under?  Most foster homes will let you bring whatever you have gosh especially since what u have been through. Your mom is definitely giving up her rights,What about you dad?? Believe it or not that should help you find a forever family!  I will think about you~

  2. It depends.  If you are a teenager you might stay there for awhile because a foster family might not be found.  Teenagers are hard to place because most people want to foster younger children.

In general, the objective of foster care is to re-unify the child and family, so it depends how long it takes for that to happen, if it happens.  If your parent's rights are terminated, then you will age-out of the system at 18 or 21.

You could stay for just a couple of months if you are sent back home, or you could stay for years.  There is no single answer.

You don't have much say as a foster kid.

  3. sadly, stays in group homes for older children depending on where you live, can be until you age out of the system....

are there any relatives that could let you live with them, or actually any friends whose family would... a lot of the time they will let older kids do this...

I hope things work out well for you...

if you have any other placement resources let you lawyer GAL or/and CASA know... by law that is where you should be placed, if they can meet basic requirments...

if there are any parents to return you to, they usually send you there.... when your parents follow their plan
