How long do you wait to add mixed salt water?

When I do water changes and mix the salt water in the bucket I usually wait three hours before adding it to the aquarium just to be on the safe side. I have two clownfish, a fire fish, 2 damsels, and a snail. I wanted to know what is the normal time you should wait before adding it.

As long as it takes for the salt to fully dissolve, really.  If you know you got the right amount of salt and water, there's really no need to wait.  If you're anal about the specific gravity, 3 hours is probably a safe bet, but is no different than waiting an hour if you don't use a hydrometer.
