How long do your teeth hurt when you get braces?

i just got braces yesterday and the pain is starting to bother me. i took some medicine to make it hurt less but they still kinda hurt. how long does this pain last?

mine hurt for about a week.

it wont hurt for more than 2 weeks.

usually about one week is average haha

braces suck a ton..

do everything that they tell you to do or else you will have them on for longer!!!!

Three days from the day you get them on.  the second day is the worst, and then it gets better.  Your teeth will still be sensitive for about 7-9 days after though, meaning you shouldn't bite into hard things, because it will hurt!  Good Luck!

About a week...and they'll hurt every time you go to have them tightened.

Braces hurt. So much. But they're worth it.
