How long does 40 lb bag of wood pellets typically last?

I'm buying a Englander 25 paf. I know weather conditions...pellet brand and some other things effect how long a bag last but I'd like to get a general idea what I'm looking at. Thanks

Depends on your climate and how much room you are heating.  A friend goes thru a 40 lb bag a day in her cold climate.  She uses 2 1/2 tons of pellets for her two stoves for the winter.  Others I've talked to say a bag will last them several days but they use the stove as back up heat, not sole heat.
