It depends on how many you took and how frequently you take them.  1-3 should take about 3 days to clear out.  More than that and you could be looking at a few weeks.  Drink lots of water (at least 64 oz a day), cranberry juice (unsweetened, pure cranberry, not cocktail, is best) and take Niacin suppliments.  Niacin is usually listed as B-12 in the vitamin aisle.  If you pop 4 pills, 3x a day it will really clean you out, but you might break out in a rash and become extremely hot.  Do this at least 2 days before taking the test.  It's uncomfortable, but it works.  Other option would be a detox flush, find on-line or at GNC.  Make sure it has creatine in it if you go with a flush, otherwise your test will come back as tampered with.

Well if this was prescribed to you then it should not matter if it shows up on a test b/c you have a RX right?

Three to four days. It can usually only be detected by looking for hydrocodone specifically though. If you checked for opiates etc, it wouldn't show up.

It could stay in your system up to a week or two. It all depends on how fast your metabolism is. I would be drinking A LOT of water,cranberry juice, beer etc. to flush my urine out if it is a urine test. If it is a blood test then it will more than likely show up.
