  1. The time for Lexapro to start working is 7 days.   It takes a month, however, before the full benefits kick in.

    I started feeling better after a month.


  2. The full effectiveness usually takes about a month. Likewise to stop taking Lexapro you have to ween yourself off over a month.

    Do not just stop taking this drug cold turkey, doing so would be uncomfortable..
