How long does U.S. Naturalization take?

Question

Does anyone know how long U.S. naturalization takes? My case would be an expendited naturalization under 319 (b) because I'm living overseas and I'm a spouse of a soldier. Can I start the procedure now if we have 17-18 months left prior to going back to the States or is it too late?
