How long does UPS ground(standard)take? From NY to LA.

I just ordered a camera on Jul 31, and still didn't get it. I know it's far but..:( well, just wondering.

when delivering packages over long distances, you can never be sure of how long it will take to reach.

that's why the numbers are always an approximation.

there are several factors that can influence the amount  of time it takes for your package to reach you... such as.. weekends, in house processing (this is usually when the package get stuck in a local post office, waiting for processing), type of package.. weight of package... etc.

Try contacting the person you bought the camera from and find out the tracking number from them. or check your receipt.

From my experience... standard usually takes 16 days... but it  could vary based which company and service  is used.

also, the type of delivery service.. like first class mail, or whatever ... usually have an impact... cause the more you pay for delivery ... the more care they will take of your package.. and thus, you shall receive it faster.

also, the time of day that u placed the shipping order can delay the delivery. like if you placed your order on a late saturday night.. they might not even see it untill monday morning.

but dont worry.. im sure it will turn up soon. my shipments are always late!

Depending on who you ordered it from, they might not even ship it the same day you ordered it.  Also, if its a business, you can normally ask for a tracking number for your order and you can track its progress on the UPS web site.

Wait about three more days. Sometimes it takes awhile to get

stuff out of the warehouse to begin with. It will be worth the wait :)

Get the tracking number from the company or person that sent it to you and you can track it.  Otherwise they say between 5 - 7 days.  Of course, it could come sooner, especially since you are in L. A.  I have used UPS and it has only taken 2 days, yes, 2 days for ground UPS.

Who ever sent it has a tracking number.  Get it from them.

Then you really can track it day by day.
