How long does USPS First Class Mail take to Canada?

I ordered something from California using First Class Mail International, which should arrive in Ottawa, ON. It was ordered on Sunday, and it has already been two weeks. Also, i can't track it because it's First Class Mail. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. The estimate is 7-10 business days but you are correct there isn't a way to track it or check delivery status or submit an inquiry unless it was sent registered mail.

  2. You can try putting the Customs Form number in to the Track & Confirm application at usps.com. You will not get any tracking information, but you may see when it was actually shipped, or handed over to USPS.

Just because it was ordered 2 weeks ago, does not mean that it was shipped immediately.

You can also try the number at the Canada Post website Tracking. It has happened that even First Class Mail International packages get scanned in Canada when they clear Customs.

The main thing is to determine when it was actually entered in to the mailstream.
