Depends on how much you use your laptop. I had dell Battery and I was a heavy user like i used for many hours each day. It lasted me about 1 and half year.

Replace it when you start to get fewer juice from it with each passing day. The more quicker the battery is discharging when youre using it, the faster it coming close to dying.

It Really depends on your usage and charging habbits. A Battery that is completely drained and then put on the charger VS one that sits on the charger most of the day, will last longer.

The typical lifespan of a lithium-ion battery is anywhere from 12 months to 36 months or so.

As they get older, their ability to hold a charge for as long as they used to also starts to get smaller.

You will know when your battery needs replacement simply because you'll notice that your computer will only have a short span of time before it needs to be put back on the charger.
