  1. usually by the time a tortoise reaches 20 years it is fully grown, i inherited a herman tortoise and when the people came to see her they said she had grown, they had had her for 26 years i have had her for about 4 years now and she has reached her full size, but a lot depends on the diet, for 26 years she was fed on cat food now she is fed on a natural weed diet she has been aged at about 50 years of age, and we think the diet change helped her develop properly, it is a hard one to actully say when they reach full size, but between 15-25 years they should have reached the size they are going to get, best of luck with your tortoise honey

  2. The tortoise never realy stopps growing, but you can differentiate fast phase of growth and a slow phase of growth. The fast phase of growth finishes about 10 years after birth but sometimes it takes even 20 years.

In this time, the tortoise will grow to about 20cm (male) or 26cm (female) in size.
