How long does a broken leg take to heal?

The tibia bone? and how do broken bones heal?

It depends on the severity of the break.  At least 6 weeks, but 12 is not unusual for a bad break.  I spent 12 weeks in a full leg cast earlier this year.  Hope you have better luck.
