How long does a credit account need to be open to rebuild your credit?

  1. it is a vague question. It takes time to reflect the good stuff you have done. Usually 1-2 years of good timely payments will contibute very nicely towards your credit. The older it is the better it is. 15% of your credit score is the length of your oldest open account.


  2. You can use credit repair agency to fix your credit - for example this one - http://freecreditreport.deep-ice.com - They can clean lots of bad stuff from your credit report - and do it much faster than yourself, so your credit will go up fast.
