How long does a cut on a tongue last?

I have this cut I do believe on the side of my tongue but it keeps rubbing against my back teeth. How long will that heal if long what should I use to heal it faster then usual, salt water or what?

tongue os one the fastest organs to heal, tongue wound if not disturbed, would heal 3-4 days, friction to any body (teeth, prosthesis, braces) may delay the healing for a while

Not very long depending on the severity maybe a couple of days. This is because the tongue heals the wounds with the saliva, it is the fastest healing organ in your body.
