How long does a dvd+rw disc take to make into a compatable disc using a dvd recorder.?

the recording i've done is 1hr 20mins.

The recording can be anywhere between 1 hr and 4 hrs on mine as it has Short Play(best quality less recording time) Long play (med qualty a bit more recording time) and SLP Super Long Play (low quality a lot of recording time.).

If u mean formatting the disc it takes 5-20 mins dependant on recorder
