  1. people that go on through court records and report them.

    At one time people would do this in person and collect the information. I don't think its done like that anymore. You would need a judgment in order to it to appear on their credit report.

    In some states a judgment is good for 20 years.

    All credit related issues are only good for 7-10 years through a credit reporting agency.
