If you are a nervous flyer it really does not matter how long you are in the air. It is not BEING in the air that freaks you. You are freaking at just  going into an airport and onto an aeroplane. You then wind yourself up as the plane takes off because you are not in control. This apprehension is totally natural but very unfortunate as it is spoiling your life.

What EXACTLY are you afraid of? Try to analyse your fears because they ARE irrational and you really don't want them in your life.

Are you feared of buses and trains and tubes/metros? Cars? Taxis?

The flying time from Manchester direct to Azores is about four hours and The Azores is to die for but sorry you will NOT die on the plane! Go on! Go for it! Enjoy and thank the Lord for such a kindly Dad.
