  1. For boys In Wisconsin, the preseason starts in the summer. Coaches have 5 contact days that they may use from the last day of school to the end of July. There is no team contact (Coaching) allowed until the middle/end of August. From the last week of August till the middle of November a team can practice/play everyday.

For girl's, the state final is in the first weekend of November. For boy's, the state final is in the second weekend.

The ends up being a little under 3 months.
