  1. 30 days

  2. I think it's 30 days, but  I'm finding that the complexes are digging up more excuses for delay.  I guess it's part of the bad economy.  I just had to tell one that I would take legal action (in small claims)  to get my deposit back after they tried to charge me an exhorbitant fee that I didn't deserve.  Fortunately, that worked without going to court, but I'm still waiting for the check. (I just called the other day)  It's been almost 2 month since I moved.  At my complex before, between the switches of management, they kept uh.. getting my address wrong.  Time before that, at the height of the condo craze, they wanted people to move out and were lenient about things.
