How long does a letter to travel from one side of the country to the other in Canada?

Calgary to Lunenburg (a city in Nova Scotia)

also, do weekends count in when one says "2-4 days" or not?

  1. It takes 2 business days when it's a local letter, 3 business days WITHIN A PROVINCE and 4 business days if it is national.The number of days excludes the day of mailing, weekends and statutory holidays

  3. I don't think I'd count anything but business days because mail processing doesn't seem to work holidays and weekends.  At least it doesn't get delivered then.  I guess it would take about 3-5 business days for regular letter mail.  At least I hope so.  Cheers!!

  4. To get from BC to Quebec : I mailed it on Monday and it got there by the following Tuesday. I assume it would be almost the same from Alberta to NS
