  1. Ask a lawyer

When I was born my parents had one year to revoke consent

But they changed it since then to suit adoptive parents possessiveness (blech)

  2. After signing adoption papers, they don't have ANY time to regain custody, you have legally made the other people the parents of the child.

Temporary custody is different though, and if that's the case, the court decides.  It could be anywhere from 6 months to 2 years or more.

  3. until the adoption is finalized you can

  4. According to this site for Wi adoption the only way you can revoke is for things like fraud, etc within a 1 year period after consent papers have been signed.  See the below link for the specifics.

  5. I don't know since my son never signed nothing but the state register and has been fighting in court for 2 years he didn't do anything wrong and still don't have his son.

  6. According to this website, it was thirty days.  You must go before the judge to explain why you relinquished your child.

  7. Not long enough.
