How long does a pasted platinum grill you buy at a mall stay in?

My friend got a platinum grill that she said is pasted and will permanently stay in her mouth for 3 months or more I just wanted to know if this is really true. Some one please tell me I feel like she is pulling a prank on me! Sorry if I sound stupid I don't know anything about these and I just want to know if it is permanent for any amount of time.

It's not true! Malls sell fake grillz you can take out anytime you want..You have to go to the place that actually makes the grillz to get it permanent
