How long does a period last.?

so i just got my period and i love to swim. but like i dont think that i am ready to use a tampon and i wnat to go swimming but like i dont know how long my period will last

Mine always last 6 days.

every girl/woman is different and sometimes every period is different too. as far as i've heard, it can be anywhere from 2 days up to a week. if you try a tampon just use the smallest one and it's not that big of a deal. if you feel it in you, you put it in wrong. good luck and welcome to womanhood :)
