I was cautioned 6yrs ago for railway fraud - long story and not as bad as it sounds (I gave away 4 unused tickets to relatives, not realising the co. I worked for got refunds on unused tickets)... I did argue that It wasn't as if I was trying to make money out of it, but I still ended up with a caution. Anyway 6yrs on I am now wanting to study at uni to be an Occupational Therapist, to which by the time I have finished the caution will then be 9yrs ago. I know it is showing up now, as the uni told me when I applied, and although they are happy for me do the course, they say at the end of the course my caution may cause me problems, which makes me think well should I even bother doing the course then if I won't be able to get a job at the end of it?? Does anyone know any facts and not assumptions of how long the caution may stay on for??? Kind regards,
